ROOM MODE

SoftPlans's room mode allows for the addition to the plan of interior finishes like wall, floor and ceiling finishes along with skirting board, chair rail and cornice all with a single click of the mouse. As well as material addition the room will also be shaded, named and approximately label dimensioned.

An unlimited number of rooms can be setup, this allows for budget and prestige levels to be stored, ready to be used. No only are these items added to the plan, they will also be counted by SoftList and displayed in SoftView's 3D and cross sections.

Room Mode produces sales type images for plan books and brochures without the additional information associated with construction documents.

The room library allows for pre-defining of materials for each room. Typically bedrooms will have carpet, skirting board and cornice where bathrooms will have only cornice and villaboard wall linings. This library provides for various quality levels for different market homes.

A single click applies all the interior finishing materials, labels the room and adds materials to SoftList for calculating.

A Room Schedule is created in seconds, you have complete control over information and order of items displayed.

Room mode utilises profile shapes for many of the materials added to the drawing and will display selected shape in 3D, elevation and cross sections. This detail produces accurate imagery for client presentation.

Profiles are provided for items like beams, beam ends, handrailing, cornice, chair rail, architrave, skirting board and many other materials.
