STAIR AND LANDING DESIGN

Complex stair and landing design is simple with the comprehensive tools supplied in SoftPlan. Stairs are placed with just 2 clicks of the mouse and as with all SoftPlan building items are fully editable for run, rise, tread width etc. Curved edge landings can be created with ease and railings positioned automatically.

Libraries of stairs or combination of stair types and landings can be saved, ready for use and altered for each job. All materials used on the construction of the stair assembly will be counted in SoftList (the material module)

As with other items in SoftPlan you are not limited to the "as supplied" library items, if you require something different out of the ordinary, you can create you own library or adjust as needed.

Stair Types
Different stair types are added, modified and positioned with ease. The displayed stairs have been selected from the libraries supplied. Additional, more complex stair design can be achieved by combining various stair types together, SoftPlan will latch these stair types to each other and to landings to form a complete unit.

Landing Design
Landings can be designed as required with curved or angle edges, supporting beams from the beam library assist in detailed construction. Joist sizes, spacing and the inclusion of underceilings are simple to add.

3D Stair Image
This 3D image is generated automatically from the floor plan. Light sources, textures and reflection values have been applied, simply by selecting the surface and assigning a value / texture. With the addition of a few symbols like pictures, lights etc the plan comes alive, producing an image that will sell your work, before construction has started.
